Who's the Herbalist?

Karen Mallinger grew up in the Amish country of Northern Ohio. Born in England, she grew up with a natural love of the earth and plants. The gardens were planted with the Farmers' Almanac. Remedies for the animals were all-natural and ranged from Epsom salts and water for colicky horses, to a homemade "miracle salve" that worked for everything!

Karen settled in Colorado and began growing organic vegetables and herbs in cold-frames and raised boxes. She obtained her Master Herbalist, (MH), and Certified Nutritional Counselor, (CNC) certifications from Trinity College and is a Certified Natural Health Care Practitioner, (CNHP).

Karen then retired to Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula with her husband, Michael and three Pembroke Welsh Corgis who "guard the garden and play with the fairies". She is the owner of All Goode Gifts, LLC, an international herb business catering to the needs of those pursuing a healthy lifestyle, free of chemicals for over 30 years. She does personal consultations and prepares custom formulas for her local clients.

"My personal calling is to provide my customers with the most natural solutions to their health and personal care challenges with good things from the good earth. I believe that God has provided everything we need for optimal health in the way of natural plants and herbs and seek to educate others on the path to natural health and total wellness. I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn first. That's why my mission is so simple: give my clients the wellness tools and resources they need to be happy, healthy and fulfill their purpose. Let's get started!

Karen specializes in custom-made herbal formulations and wellness teas for specific ailments or personal care issues. Her areas of emphasis are Women’s Health, Geriatric Health, and Natural Pet Care. Karen has spoken for numerous Women’s Clubs, Senior Citizen Centers, Herb Guilds, co-ops, and Churches and is available for speaking engagements and workshops. She was the featured Herbalist at Herbnet.com in the “Ask the Herbalist” column for six years.

Karen also wrote for several herbal publications like Essential Herbal Magazine, Herb Quarterly, as well as Light on the Shores and Health and Wellness magazines, both of Marquette, Michigan. She is a contributing author to God's Wild Herbs, and has been featured on the Dr. Larry Show in
Crystal Falls, Michigan.
